After two months of intense Death Match action, the Death Match World Cup 3 has concluded. Over 100 players entered the tournament, but only one could be crowned the DMWC3 champion!
Main Event
This final matches of the tournament kicked off with a sense of deja-vu for anyone who watched the Death Match World Cup 2 finals—with the same players earning their spot in the top 3 as they fought for the crown!
Having dropped from the upper bracket after his Winners’ Finals set against TheViper, TheCode would have to fight his way back through the lower bracket to earn a spot in the Grand Finals. The Lower Bracket Final was a rematch of the DMWC2 fight with True—who earned his spot after taking a 5-1 set over TaToH. There, TheCode would emerge victorious in a 5-3 finish—advancing to the Grand Finals where he would once again face TheViper.
TheViper was nigh unstoppable in his upper bracket run: losing only 4 games throughout the entire main event—2 of which were claimed by TheCode during the Winners’ Finals. In the Grand Final, he would continue his dominance in a 6-0 sweep of TheCode: claiming the series and defending his title as the Death Match World Cup champion!

Silver League
In the Silver League; the newest faces to Death Match entered the limelight to show off their skills. Two Austrian players, FreakinChris and his brother, FreakinAndy, quickly made a name for themselves within the Death Match community.
The brothers had to face each other in a heated semi-final match. When FreakinChris emerged victorious, he would go on to be crowned as the Silver League champion. Runner up FRost_9 and the remaining semifinalist StonePleaseAoE also put in a great showing during their games.
