Over 250 players participated in the first round of the Red Bull Wololo qualifiers over the weekend. From those players, Nicov, ACCM, Slam and LaaaaaN have emerged victorious and qualified for the main event to be played on the 30th of April through the 3rd of May.
The Red Bull Wololo is played using an altered version of Empire Wars, a game mode added in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. The game mode provides instant action, differing civilization choices and opens the door to a new world of competitive strategies.

256 players will be seeded for the second qualification weekend on the 26th and 27th of April. Players will participate in multiple Best of 1’s, Bo3’s and a single Bo5 on the Saturday, then a final Bo7 on the Sunday. The four champions will earn a spot in the Red Bull Wololo main event.
