Explore two new formidable European civilizations, the Danes and the Poles. Each feature their own unique set of units, technologies, cards, and bonuses. Create more strategies in two entirely new game modes: protect your Regent or be eliminated in Regicide, and rediscover your favorite civilizations without XP and their Home City in Independence Mode!
The release of The Baltic Powers signals the arrival of new Native Allies, meet and greet the Scottish House of Stuart, the Scandinavian Sámi, and the Arctic Inuit. Not all the new arrivals are friendly! Do battle against new Outlaws like Harpooners and Whaling Ships, and rush to recruit new deadly Mercenaries before your rivals, such as the Gallowglass, Cranequinier, and Fortified Wagon.
Set out for adventure and discover the Northwest Passage, or dare the volcano on Iceland in new Random Maps. Join the Teutonic Knights in their battle over Livonia in a brand new Historical Map, or amass the Winged Hussars in Skirmish and trample your rivals into the dust.The Baltic Powers is available now – ride forth to victory!

As a defensive, mercantile power, the Danes rely on their Customs House to generate revenue from the shipments of other players. Round Churches and Snaphaner Militias protect this source of wealth used to finance a modern fleet and an elite of royal guard regiments. Happy to support their king, the Danes are also able to advance for lower costs and have no desire to revolt.
