First of all, that's not possible, there's no key involved on steam if you purchased from them directly, you likely purchased a key from a reseller. Second of all, do you really think this is the place to beg?

You dont have to, but its only 15 bucks, and considering all the work they put into remastering everything - that's really nothing compared to what you're getting.
