Hey there Age fans!
We are so excited to have launched Age of Empires: Definitive Edition earlier this week, and glad that you can finally play it with us!
That said, we know that while most of you are having a blast with the game, some users are running into technical difficulties stopping them from playing. Rest assured we are tracking these issues and working on solutions as quickly as possible! We’ve already solved a lot of problems: if you’re having issues, check our support page for troubleshooting tips to get you back in the game!
What are we doing?
In the past three days, we’ve already published a few hotfixes that have resolved problems for many users, and we’re continuing to work on the other issues. We’re currently testing a bigger content update that we hope to release early next week to resolve even more issues, especially ones stopping the game from launching.
We’re also updating our support page every time we find a solution or workaround. So if you’re still having trouble, check that page regularly.
What can you do?
If you’re having trouble, you need our help, and we need yours!
First, head to our support page and look for your issue there. We’ve already found solutions and workarounds for many common problems. Future updates will remove the need for you to take many of these steps, but we want to get you in the game as soon as possible!
Second, report your issue to us using the instructions on the support page. The more info we have, the faster we can fix things for everybody! We will need your DxDiag and Store Logs files (the support instructions will tell you how to grab those too).
