Wololo Wednesdays—February Winners and March Contest!

Greetings, Wololo Warriors!

It’s a new month, and time for you to step up and show your Wololo spirit in our monthly contest.

But first, the winners from last month! Since everyone got an extra day last month for the leap year, we asked you to show us what the Age of Empires characters do when they get an extra day to do whatever they like. As always, we had a bunch of awesome entries, but we had to narrow it down to our five favorites. Below are this month’s winners!

Lucax, whose tale of John the Villager serves as a parable for us all to be kinder to our idle villagers.

Salaryyys, who told us a tale of a young Samurai in love:

OVV, who created an entire zoo for villagers to celebrate their vacations!

We want to see this one as a mod!

and EternalWolf8, whose king went on an excellent time-traveling adventure:

Admit it, you would totally watch this movie.

Congrats to all winners, and thanks to everyone who participated!

This month, it’s not whether you win or lose—it’s the epic story you have after the game! We want you to show us the most epic way to end a match! Whether you overwhelm your opponent with a secret wave of vermilion birds or have your last villager sneak around in the woods until your opponent rage-quits, we want to hear about it! Submit your screenshots or other illustrations to show us! Your entry may also include a written portion explaining your illustration, but the written portion must be no more than 400 characters in length.

We’ll pick our five favorites, and the winners will each be able to choose two of the below prizes! Submissions must be appropriate and related to Age of Empires in some way, and must be submitted in the forum discussion thread linked below before 11:59 PM PST on March 30, 2016. You can find the full official rules here.
