Today’s hotfix addresses three major issues that arose with Tuesday’s Update, including a problem with walls, town centers, and AI unit movements! As always, please be sure to visit our official discussion channels to let us know if they’re fixed or if you continue to experience issues playing the game.

Download on the MICROSOFT STORE
Remember that you’ll need update your game in the Microsoft Store:

  • Open the Microsoft Store.
  • Click the [ ∙ ∙ ∙ ] symbol next to your profile picture.
  • Select Downloads and updates.
  • Press the Get updates button to automatically detect, download, and install the latest changes to your game!
  • Open the game. The title screen should read Build 34793

That’s it; you’re ready to play!

Download on STEAM
Remember that you’ll need update your game in Steam:

  • Open Steam.
  • Click on Library to see your games list.
  • Click Downloads at the bottom of the Library window.
  • [If the new build does not download automatically,] click the Download Now button to manually download the new update.
  • Open the game. The title screen should read Build 34793

FIXES

  • Fixed a bug that allowed units to ignore the singular purpose of walls.
  • Fixed a bug where villagers could partially pass through buildings.
  • Fixed a bug which resulted in certain units dealing massive damage to Town Centers.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented the Stop hotkey from working properly.
  • Fixed a bug which motivated the AI to defend the westernmost corner of the map rather than participating in a match.

ONGOING INVESTIGATION

We are continuing to track and work towards fixes for several issues reported by the community. Here are some of the priority reports which are currently in the process of being investigated:

  • In some circumstances, units may path through buildings and gates. We are working on additional fixes to address the problem.
  • Unit kills and deaths are not displayed correctly following a match.
  • Animals killed by military units allow the animals to be gathered for food. This is not intended.

If we are able to identify a solution, we may try and push a second hotfix within the next week. Stay tuned for more!

    Kill counter is still bugged, this is game breaking for custom scenarios and killing their player base. We are on day 10, when will this issue be resolved or reverted?

    Can you fix the kill/death counter as a priority. Many custom scenarios (including the biggest of them all, CBA!) need this, and the community is dying as many "CS" players are shying away from the game.

      Not showing up as a download (34793) so Im stuck at (34397) :( what am I doing wrong?????

    My friend and I have noticed an issue when playing with some lag. Sometimes the selection rectangle is missing and as a results the intended units to move doesn't.
    I also experienced choppy game when watching a game as an spectator and same when watching a record game. Looks like the game runs faster than the actual speed and stops every half a second.
    Finally just confirming the issue with villagers getting stuck to drop food quieing besides each other.

    This game can be the best game ever if you guys FIX the disconnects in Multiplayer or something like reconnect.
    A lot peoples asking for it. Sry my english. Pls Fix that!

    This game did not auto update for me, I downloaded it from the microsoft store. Am I missing where to enable auto update?

    1) In some circumstances, units may path through buildings and gates. (and get stuck inside a wall)
    2)Unit kills and deaths are not displayed correctly following a match.
    3)Units and buildings stop attacking if they can't reach their main target ie a tower without Murder hole try to attack a militia and an archer, the militia reach the tower, the tower doesnt switch its attack against the archer but stop attacking.
    4)Instability during multiplayer, we are now use to save and relaunch the game when it start to have a behavior that looks like playing with low FPS.
    5) AI issue, the commands are not working at all, (Attack with cavalery, attack player 3...)
    6) AI issue 2, after beating an opponent the AI lvl difficult stop attacking other ennemy
