This month’s contest: Age of Empires is all about the battles, but our favorite Age characters had lives before the wars as well. We want you show us what your favorite Age characters did before they enlisted! What was it like for the monk before he joined the priesthood? How did the war elephant rider get his elephant license? Your entry must include an image and must relate to an Age of Empires game. You may also include a written portion explaining your entry that may be no more than 400 characters in length (not including spaces).
We’ll pick our five favorites, and the winners will each be able to choose two of the below prizes! Submissions must be appropriate, and must be submitted in the forum discussion thread linked below before 11:59 PM PDT on August 31, 2016. You can find the full official rules here.
