Stability & Performance
- Applied a fix that will hopefully fix the 0001-0001-ffffffff error that was preventing some players from accessing multiplayer activities on PlayStation 5. The fix modifies how tokens are issued to avoid issues where too many tokens are requested in a short period. We will be monitoring to ensure the fix is working as intended.
- Fixed a crash that occurred while updating player friend data. Some players were repeatedly crashing on launch while experiencing this crash.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when the News pop-up failed to download or display an image.
Developer Note: For players who are continuing to experience the freeze issue after the previous update please try fully rebooting your PlayStation 5. Some players have reported that this was required for the change to fix their experience. Our development team have shared a development technical blog on the Reddit platform. For interested players you can read that post here: PS5 Fixes Developer Update : r/AgeofMythology
UI
- Fixed a bug that caused the spectator/replay UI to display incorrectly in some situations.
Controller
- The “Quick Find Selects Control Groups” setting for the controller will respect your setting choice once again after it was broken in the most recent patch.
Community Event
- Added support for new server-driven challenge types that may appear in next month’s Community Event.

- Fall of the Trident 06: I Hope This Works – Removed an unintentionally included developer skip. When selecting a specific tower, portions of the mission were skipped. You can now expect the mission to play as expected with no risk of skips accidentally happening!
Developer Note: Thank you to the community for reporting issues. For a few of these fixed issues, the community called them out, which allowed us to get those fixes to you in this patch!
